Interior Designer (In-House)
The opportunity
We are looking for a talented, motivated interior designer early in their career who wants real-world experience on luxury residential projects. Working directly with our leadership and project teams, you will own interior selections and produce complete interior design sets from concept through construction. It is an ideal role for a recent graduate ready to learn the building side of design and grow with the company.
What you'll do
- Develop, organize and manage material, finish, fixture and appliance selections for each project
- Enter and track client selections in Buildertrend, keeping them accurate and on schedule
- Produce full interior design sets in CAD — floor plans, interior elevations, cabinetry, tile layouts and detailing
- Meet with clients to guide them through selections and present design options
- Coordinate with architects, project managers, vendors and trade partners
- Maintain vendor relationships and keep product resources and samples organized
What we're looking for
- Degree in Interior Design or a related field — recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or comparable CAD software
- A strong eye for high-end residential design, and real attention to detail
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced custom home environment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Experience with Buildertrend, SketchUp or rendering software is a plus
